The SCC ACEs Network Learning Series

The Santa Cruz County (SCC) ACEs Network Learning Series is a 6-session series offered November 2020 through June 2021, designed to:

  • Increase or reinforce knowledge of Adverse Childhood Experiences and goals of the ACEs Aware initiative 

  • Share best practices for implementing ACEs screenings, assessing risk for toxic stress, and connecting children and families to medical, social, and community networks of care 

  • Create opportunities for parents and caregivers, advocates, child- and family-serving organizations, policymakers, and other community leaders to learn about and strengthen referral pathways and services that enhance resiliency, treat ACEs, and foster healing.

  • Engage diverse stakeholders in identifying and implementing policy solutions that address adversity rooted in systems and build community resilience.
