Founded by the iconic country singer Dolly Parton in 1995, this transformative initiative provides free books to children from birth to age five, regardless of their family's income. Books are selected by an expert panel in early childhood literacy for content that is informative, age appropriate and inspiring. By nurturing a passion for reading, we are preparing the young children in our community for a bright future.
